The thesis

Tokenized stocks went onchain. Dividents didn't. On July 1, 2026, Robinhood switched on its own chain and put listed equities on it. This is the visible half of Vlad Tenev's tokenization thesis, argued publicly since before the EU stock-token launch in June 2025: every asset becomes a token — stocks first, then private markets, then the rest — markets stop closing, and owning a share of Apple becomes as portable as holding a stablecoin. The ownership half works. The tokens are ordinary ERC-20s, issued from Jersey, trading around the clock against USDG. At our last reading the AAPL token had ~56,000 holders on the chain; NVDA ~86,000. Then Apple paid its August dividend, and we watched what happened onchain. Nothing arrived. No transfer, no payout. A single storage variable inside the token contract — uiMultiplier() — moved from 1 to 1.00056608. Robinhood reinvests every dividend and records it as a scaling factor: each token now quietly represents about 0.057% more shares than it did at launch. The value is real and publicly auditable. It is also invisible. Wallets don't show it. Explorers don't total it. Holders were not told. That gap is our thesis: Tokenization, as shipped, moved ownership onchain and left income behind as an accounting entry. A share that pays you is different in kind from a share that silently revalues — the first is cash flow you can direct; the second you only notice if you know which storage slot to read. DRIP is the instrument we built to read that slot. It queries the multipliers live from chain RPC, prices them, and shows any wallet the dividend value already sitting inside its tokens . token-live · medium confidence

DRIP is a dividend routing layer for Robinhood Chain stock tokens. Dividends accrue as an ERC-8056 multiplier; planned isolated vaults would sell only that increment into USDG while keeping share exposure. Docs say Uniswap swaps into NVDA, AAPL and SPY are live; vault contracts and cash harvests are not deployed. A $Drip token launched on Pons.

Notable

  • Own docs: vaults not deployed and yields are simulated. Observatory and wallet reads are live. Claims live Uniswap V3 swaps into NVDA, AAPL and SPY.
  • $Drip launched on Pons on 2026-09-02. 1B supply, symbol Drip, 143 holders on Blockscout. Pons page showed about $32k bonding-curve market cap.
  • Creator wallet locked about 15M tokens (1.5% of supply) in Titan Locker V2.1; unlock timestamp 1812481320, about June 2027.
  • dripswap.tech was registered 2026-09-02, the same day as the token and the first X posts. Whitepaper dated September 2026.
  • Name collision: drips.network, dividends.money $DRIP, and @DriphoodApp $Drip are different projects. Not an impersonation of those.

Unverified

  • Team is unnamed. No GitHub. No audit of Drip vaults, which the whitepaper says are not deployed.
  • No funds, angels, or accelerators stated.
  • X claim of being the first dividend RWA platform on Robinhood Chain is unverified; similar harvest designs exist.
  • Quoted Uniswap pool depths (e.g. ~$6.8M USDG/ETH) are the project's reading, not independently checked.
