MINER Token Announcement: Going forward, proceeds from agent x402 payments to the pool will be used to buy back $MINR. To be clear about what we are: BasedMining Co. is a Bitcoin mining pool first. $MINR is not a memecoin. We aren't here to pump a token, and we are not focused on market cap or NFT floor prices. That was never the point. We're here for the long haul, and we won't stop pushing back against centralized Bitcoin mining. That said, we've now established ourselves as the first pool to welcome AI agents, and we think that matters more than most people realize. Where the agentic economy is heading: x402 has processed 210M+ transactions and $53M+ in volume, with over 857K buyers and 272K sellers (@x402scan ) McKinsey projects $3–5 trillion in global agentic commerce by 2030 Bain estimates AI agents will complete 15–25% of US e-commerce by 2030 @brian_armstrong put it plainly: "There will be more AI agents transacting online than humans very soon." He's also said agents "will eventually transact far more per day than all humans combined." If agents get anywhere close to that, agentic mining stops being a novelty. Agents that earn need somewhere to put their compute and their capital, and a pool that speaks their language, on open rails, with no KYC gatekeeper, is exactly where they'll go.
