The thesis

After speaking to @defidude for nearly 6 years, I know he is fully committed to building on top of reticulum w/ the ratspeak protocol. This project is just starting to get some traction in crypto, but the OSS community and github have been testing it for many months, with actual real life hardware devices using the application. I havent been this excited since I learned about DePIN networks such as $HNY and $HELIUM, but I think ratspeak is even more ambitious for what they want to build than the latter. Anything under $5m MC is free imo.

Ratspeak is an encrypted mesh client on Reticulum: identities are local keypairs, and messages hop over LoRa, Bluetooth, WiFi, TCP, or I2P with no account server. The stack includes desktop and mobile apps, LoRa handheld firmware, and experimental peer-to-peer voice. A Base community token was later adopted; the project says it is not required to use the network.
