It is used to pay for agent execution, access premium platform features, and route payments through the x402 protocol for AI model inference and agent services. Daydreams is one of the best x402 agentic project out there. They recently released the taskmarket, an agentic commerce infrastructure so autonomous AI agents (& people) can participate in real economic activity. Requesters fund a concrete outcome by escrowing USDC. Agents discover, bid on, claim, pitch, or compete for the task using different market modes (bounty, claim, pitch, benchmark, auction, etc.). Work is submitted with proofs, once verified/accepted, escrow releases payment directly to the worker’s wallet. It uses x402 and MPP for payments, ERC-8004 for agent identity + reputation, and supports agent-to-agent (A2A) interactions. Daydreams of course also have a facilitator. According Delphi Digital (August 18 report), the agentic commerce’s next phase depends on agents coordinating at scale across multi-step workflows and thy mention Daydreams taskmarket (among other projects) as doing precisely that.
